  5. I have many times wondered if a congressman speaks to an empty room do they make a noise? Empty seats and few people seen as the camera moves to the desk. Perhaps this is the reason nothing changes except for the worse! There needs to be accountability and term limits! Like my job I had to perform in order to be considered for a raise or a job for that matter!

  9. Pfluger that’s bull a tax on this and the other gases that come from shale plays that produce wet gas are rich in other commodities and should be taxed ! Natural gas,propane companies all around this country charge a fee you will see it on your bill when they fill your tank for hazmat spills! 😮 When these liquid gases are spilled they turn into vapors there is no clean up its in the air we breathe.Oil rigs in a rich oil/gas field not yet connected to gathering lines can release between 5000 to 100,000 mcf per month. (mcf )stands for 1,000 cubic ft . That a huge amount of these gases being released in these oil plays around the country and this is from only one well😮 Points to ponder😊 Natural gas should be taxed😊 Greed has to take back 💺seat😊

  10. The elitists, including joe, do not want us to be allowed to afford anything. They want us to live under bridges, to eat bugs, ride around on bicycles, and keep working just so they can spend our taxes on things that make them wealthier.

  12. They know that natural gas/propane are the cleanest energy sources that we have but its all about control, NOT the environment. If we move forward to the stars they lose all control at that point!

  14. Tax gas and it will reduce consumption? Obviously that idea came from an idiot. In every product, oil, retail anything, it has always been cheaper to purchase in quantity…just like shopping in Costco or Sams and Walmart. Volume means less cost and the sales price gets a break as well.
    In the Government world, mainly the Democrats who are all wound up about going green, more volume is a sin, it must be sold in a tiered price plan, the more you purchase the higher the cost is per unit. That is 101% backwards…has been ever since tiered rates existed. Also, I see taxes already on gas bills at the end user plus, the Feds tax that crap out of anything coming out of the ground already and since natural gas is a by product of oil, they are double dipping on taxes over one product, not to mention all of the other products that come from oil such as gasoline, diesel, solvents etc. TAX TAX TAX…Time for Congress and their families to see the people first hand in person in how they use gas adn that already they don't use more than they need as it is…now you want them to suffer and use even less PLUS tax it? They won't save anything, they will skimp and use less and the energy bill will likely be much higher. Sounds a lot like communism/socialism.

  19. Moving forward, and away from ALL fossil fuels in the time left to reverse the damage done by American corporations is paramount to the entire planet. Taxation to research the next steps in innovation is genius. Republicans don't care.

  26. I have a friend who farms in the Texas Panhandle. About once every 10 years it rains enough for one corner of his field to stand in water for a couple of weeks. The EPA designated that a WETLAND and prohibits him from using it…. of course he still has to pay taxes on it even though it's useless.

  47. The Biden Energy policy–ending the use of fossil fuels–is murderous. I mean that literally. It is killing people as I sit here writing this. Unfortunately, this attitude spilled over into his foreign policy and the very first people he started killing are in Austria and Germany.
