Current and former Boeing employees delivered stark warnings at two US Senate hearings on Wednesday (April 17) over safety culture and manufacturing quality at the planemaker which has been under scrutiny since the door plug panel blew off an Alaska Airlines flight in January.

  1. This is how many, if not most, American businesses conduct themselves. They exploit labor and resources with the sole purpose of making the highest profits possible.

    I’m glad to see strong people within the company, report their employer’s dangerous indifference to making defective airplanes.

    The CEO and CFO at Boeing are perfectly willing to do nothing as long as they make a profit. That’s why they have insurance. They’re not going to lose any money if one of their planes crashes. They’ll more likely make a profit.
