5. Apparently the folks against giving relief for student loans, I am looking particularly at the Boomers, have a very short memory.
   
   Federal and State funding for higher education experienced substantial growth after the launch of Sputnik, in 1957, with the result that for Boomers their (our, as I am a Boomer) college and university education were subsidized at a level of 85% or higher. The Republicans have driven these subsidies down to 15% or less since that time.
   
   It is looking like the Republicans are planning on waiting until China establishes bases on the Moon before they will acknowledge that education is important to America.

    Every student and voter who falls for, supports, or benefits from Biden's billions in promised student loan buyouts would eventually live to see their own children and grandchildren paying on that inflated national debt and its interest, even while their offspring have to live a more austere life, work harder, and pay more taxes, as a direct result of that giveaway. Nothing is free! Such an inflationary buyout is, also, NOT fair to the great majority of American taxpayers who never went to college, or to all the generations who have paid back their college loans for which they had signed up. Biden's lying charity makes folks of all who support itAND would escalate the out of control costs of college tuition and fees.
    If you can't pay the bill when you're done, don't walk into the restaurant and eat, thinking that someone else is going to bail you out.
    IF you signed the contract, it's your responsibility to pay the contracted price.
