  31. as an Australian I'm disappointed, the Philippines was modernised and built from scratch because of my ancestors in the 50's, 60's, and 70's. Meaning we had absolute authority and control over the Philippines government for decades. I think it's a disgusting message when you use Australian issues to manipulate the masses into voting for you when the mistakes of my country, my government, and my people for failing to predict the mass radicalisation and hostile take over of the Philippine government by it's current administration solely falls on us.   32. I seem to recall democracy being at stake in the 2016 election, which was also the most important one in the history of our country. But democracy's still here, even though Trump won that time. Cry wolf if you'd like, but I'm pretty sure the country will "survive" (at the very least) another four-year term if it comes down to it, and there will be another election after that.
