US President Joe Biden and his predecessor Donald Trump have both passed the delegate thresholds to clinch their parties’ nominations for the election in November.

Four states, one American territory and Democrats living abroad held their primaries on Tuesday.

The result means US voters face a rematch of the 2020 presidential election in eight months’ time.

The nominations will be made official at party conventions this summer.

  24. To be honest I don’t really like trump, but I understand why his isolationist policies are gaining traction. The United States constantly gets blamed for every world conflict. Even when we try to help we’re just called war mongers. If the rest of the world hates us and we are causing the problems, shouldn’t Europe like the idea of America becoming an isolationist country? If they think we are starting the wars, us not stepping in will solve the problem. As an American I don’t want to get involved with the world just for the world to hate us, and many Americans agree. We are basically just fighting and dying for countries that use us when its convenient for them and then treat us like garbage after. If you hate us then let us isolate ourselves.

There seem to be lots of apparent pro russian false propogandists here and elsewhere on YouTube trying to hijack this forthcoming election in favour of the previous incumbent to try to help ensure Ukraine loses this war due to then a complete lack of american support as it has already been declared by that person there will not be any further support for Ukraine if he wins the election! If you want to do the right thing and be on the right side of history, apart from your current president's good and better record and demonstrably greater integrity and ethics you have a clear and obvious choice as to who your next president should be, it is your current one who is clearly destined to go down in history as one of the U.S.A.'s greatest presidents and demonstrably in all respects the better of the the two leading candidates!
