  1. He talking BS !You think other social media companies is not doing the same thing ? It all boils down to Facebook and other social platforms is threatened by TikTok success

  2. The guy reminds me of Jerry Louis lloll Most of what he says or their talking points can also be said for other social media sites but no bans there? Also, Americans buy China made things all the time and it is big business. Odd.. China does have social media sites.. Umm.. :/

  3. whole congresss control by republicans and democrats that control by blackrock,….. investors of fb, goggle,…. face it, security are lies from politicians. See Iraq,…. war

  4. Washington only wants to ban Tiktok FOR TWO REASONS. (1) They can not FORCE TIKTOK to sensor FREE SPEECH or LABEL your videos as MISINFORMATION. Tiktok isn't owned by an American. (2) Former Treasury Secretary Mnuchin is putting together an investor group to buy TikTok. Oh, REALLY?1 A FORMER U.S. Treasury Secretary, a former Government Employee !!
Now, If Washington is SO CONCERNED about China getting our data, WHY DO THEY ALL OWN Iphones? You might say, "Well, Apple is an American Company, not Chinese." That may be so, but that American owned company produces the Iphones, WHERE?, CHINA. Iphones are manufactured in China so Apple can produce them for less and then sell them for more here in the U.S.
Next question, WHO ARE THESE INVESTORS? More Government employees? There is NO NATIONAL SECURITY INFORMATION ON TIKTOK! I mean, WTF!?!?
If Washington can't control it, YOU CAN'T HAVE IT!!!!! The "Land Of The Free And The Home Of The Brave", isn't so free anymore. THINK ABOUT IT.

  5. Remember; everything they’re saying, about TikTok, is to be applied to EVERY single app out there — not just TikTok. X is worse than TikTok, are we not going to ban that? It’s basically picking and choosing where we can “go” online, like they do in physical space… and it’s getting annoying. Either give us freedom or give us absolute peace (and quiet) ✌🏼

  6. Why stop at Tictok ??? Facebook and Twitter are more harmful, Mark Zuckerberg stays in front of Congress defending the awful things proven to be true about Facebook! They just want to keep people from making money from Tictock.

  7. Can tiktok be used to sway the American political consciousness? Yes. But so can YouTube and Instagram. So did Facebook in the 2016 election. The difference is that these companies aren't American.
