  8. It is a fun fact which many people do not know that China did not "ban" Google, YouTube, Tweet and so on. What really happened is that China had issued some internet management laws. For example, it requests those social medias and websites to setup severs in China and store their Chinese users' datas locally. Those platforms did not want to do so and chose to leave China market by their own. US has almost exact the same requirements and Bytedance complies with such very well. Bytedance created TitTok for international market and they have another similiar product called DouYin in China. TitTok setup servers in US and stores its American users' data in US.

  16. I am an American and I fully support banning TikTok for all the reasons stated in this video. There are many other ways videos can be made, posted, and viewed in this country. We don't need questionable apps compromising our safety and security. Maybe if China had proven in recent years that they supported the US on anything, and hasn't consistently antagonized and provoked our US military in the last two years, maybe we wouldn't have had to take these measures. Of course it's a security risk! China has proven they can't be trusted. Just recently a Chinese citizen working for Google in California was arrested for sharing Google trade secrets and files to China. However, I want to emphasize that this doesn't mean all Chinese natives in the US are a concern. I'm just simply stating the fact that right now China and US are not on the best of terms, and it makes sense to take precautionary measures. When an app like TIKTOK has the ability to obtain the user's private information in order to use it, that's an issue and a security risk since the people gathering that info and data is China!

Tik Tok something is really wrong within the code of this App 100% cause every time I visit Tic Tok on my VM, the sound of a video on the home page will not stop playing the music, like I can close this browser and the music will still be playing. Like the App is just weird in all my experiences.
