  1. I know someone that could have used this scene: the cop in Washington state that left his loaded service weapon in his car with his 2 young kids in the back seat. He went outside the car to talk to someone. The youngest picked up his gun and shot and killed their sibling. Maybe this scene should have reminded him about the in-safe products that you can put in trucks/SUVs. I could have gotten one installed right from the manufacturer when I ordered my truck. But I guess this cop doesn't know anything about gun safety and needs this scene. "Before you go talk to someone about your day, secure your deadly weapon." Which is exactly what he was doing, talking to someone and he didn't do what he should have first: secure his weapon. It only cost him the life of his child.

You all want to point out the Alec story as if somehow that is a big deal when there are much smaller stories like this one that go on ALL the time. But you don't care because there isn't a big name attached to it. But hey, that cop didn't go to jail or lose his job; neither should Alec then.

  2. What a huge joke. Liberals! Hollywood is the number one promoter of violence and creator of the violent narrative, but they act like they’re pioneers and stopping and being against violence! Liberal and woke people are an absolute joke.

  3. Hollywood shouldn't have to do what Washington D.C. is supposed to do by protecting the citizens of America instead the people we put in office are more concerned with the business aspect of everything in stead of the life aspect

  4. I'm from Russia. I have a gun safe at home. It is built into the wall. Once a year, a police officer comes to me on a random day and checks how I store my weapons. Do I store ammunition separately, where do I have the keys to this safe, and sometimes I can look at the record card kept by the shooting range employee.

I think this is a mandatory minimum of security. I'm surprised that you keep guns in your chest of drawers…
In my opinion, mandatory storage of weapons in a safe is the task of legislators.

Verification is the task of the police.

But the Americans decided that Hollywood would solve this problem.

  5. Hollywood inspires many of these killers with these over the top violent movies that have no plot. There are thousands of movies that wouldn’t ever get views without gratuitous violence.

  6. The fact of the matter is, gunfire wouldn't be in TV shows if the majority of the viewers didn't WANT to see it. Studios only ever make TV shows and movies that they think will sell, they have stockholders to answer to for yearly profits. It's in the name of one of the most popular shows back in the day, "Gunsmoke", or how about James Bond "License to Kill"? Is there an episode of Law and Order without gunfire? The Blacklist?

Americans WANT to see the violence in their shows and games. The studios provide it, they wouldn't keep doing so if we (the consumer) didn't buy it.

  7. Malcolm X – “if the Negro was not so eager to surrender his gun and submit to the gun laws of the liberals, then many of the atrocities perpetuated against the Negros would not have occurred.”

X – “I much prefer to stand shoulder to shoulder with an armed man who is honest rather than an unarmed Liberal who lies.”

X – “Concerning nonviolence, it is criminal to teach a man not to defend himself when he is the constant victim of brutal attacks.”

X – “Self-defense, since self-preservation is the first law of nature, we assert the right to self-defense. The Constitution of the United States of America clearly affirms the right of every American Citizen to bear arms. And as Americans we will not give up a single right guaranteed under the Constitution. The history of unpunished violence against our people clearly indicates that we must be prepared to defend ourselves or we will continue to be a defenseless people.”

X – “A man who stands for nothing will fall for anything.”

X – “Stop sweet talking, tell him how you feel”

  8. Classic CNN viewers in the comments here. I would rather have a president who uses strong words and can speak for himself than a guy who will get trouble if he says what's not pre written for him.

  9. I recently decided to take a closer look at most Chinese movies and realized that they almost always never display guns!
I also noticed that characters hardly "die'', even when beaten to pulp.
The reverse is true of Hollywood and that's what has unleashed the horror we see in our homes and streets. It might take decades to detoxify society

  10. We are prioritizing gun safety over people hurting kids?
Great job Hollywood. Spend a year making shows and movies about protecting children. This is just silly and a complete waste.
