  6. This dude is out of touch, the healthcare will collapse, even the non coronavirus patient will not get served. Once that happens the economy will be much worse, this is a reset button so drastic measure shall apply

  7. I think that businesses should have employees wash hands, wear gloves, try to keep 6FT distance, reduce customer numbers in stores, suggest/aid WFH (Work From Home) or to take paid time off, and perhaps even reduce hours and staff schedule to a small degree.
    But to heII if I think businesses should be completely shutdown over a flu strain with a slightly higher affliction rate than 2018-2019's flu.
    Please let cooler minds prevail here.

  17. By my calculations, 0.0016% of healthy people would die of coronavirus if we do absolutely nothing and continue business as usual. What's the mortality rate of people in a great depression living in tent cities?

How come that the richest country in the world cannot support their people during a short shutdown…Why not put on hold all the mortgages, bills, etc…Why are people so reckless that they don't have safety cushion for such a period…I really don't understand why to let people die because the country can't manage its resources properly…

  21. Umm, this plan would lead to the deaths of many people aged 70+, i.e. a substantial proportion of Republican voters and Fox News viewers. In an election year.
