Housing market and affordability in the US the ‘number one issue’

Newsweek’s Senior Editor-at-Large Josh Hammer says the housing market in the United States is the “number one issue”.

Housing affordability has become a big issue in America as young people struggle to get into the housing market.

“BlackRock and other like-minded financial institutions are buying up tons and tons of residential property across America,” Mr Hammer told Sky News host Rita Panahi.

“It’s really tough out there.

“It’s very, very unfortunate right now but I think the housing market is one of the number one issues.”

  1. There is an answer to the housing crisis; the American Family Homestead Act (AFHA) which returns unused or underutilized land to the American people from the largest land owner…the federal government. Do a search for Adler von Pfingsten ‘Pamphlets’ and read No. 8 for the details.

The act would inject $3-4 trillion into the economy every year until every family has a home.

  2. Energy companies, Insurance companies, and the lack of housing is where the inflation is coming from, not to mention the OUTRAGOUS council rates which now look like a smaller second mortgage on your property forever.

  3. EXCUSE ME BEFORE I PUKE ,,,,, I IDENTIFY AS A WOLF , CANCER IS A HORRIBLE PUNGENT SMELL , A.I.D.S. SMELLS LIKE A VERY ROTTEN MIND IN FAKE SKIN ( WE CAN NOT STAND IT ) IT WON'T STAND I GUESS.
