Americans are in a bad mood about the economy, even though employers are hiring, wages are outpacing inflation and inflation is slowing. But Americans are mainly focused on how much more expensive things are post-pandemic. Justin Wolfers breaks down why falling prices might not be a good thing.

Lol
Groceries are up 25% and my wages HAVE NOT gone up 25% to at least match when we should be beating. Such a BLATANT lie.
This guy is from my country and he sounds stupid!
My wages haven’t gone up by much.. I rather old prices and old wages
Thank you Lord Jesus for the gift of life and blessings to me and my family $14,120.47 weekly profit Our lord Jesus have lifted up my Life!!!🙏❤️❤️
Sure higher prices make good sense 🤪. This is the media hard at work for the administration.
look at how wages actually increased compared to how many times prices increased, wages have increased 6 times since 1967 compared to prices increasing 21 times since 1967.
Prices are still going up. Prices have more than doubled, that's 100%. Stop telling us it's getting better.
I hate both of these people
Took me an hr of work in 2006 to afford a Chipotle burrito, now it takes an 50 minutes to afford one. Wages go up so do costs of goods and services.
MSNBC, wages are not outpacing inflation when looking at 3, 4 or 5 year totals. If I received a 6% raise this year, sure I'm outpacing YOY CPI figures. But if I did not get a raise the prior 2 years, I am still well under inflation pre-covid. Most Americans are. Stop cherry picking data to feed your Brandon savior's 2024 chances.
It's not the facts or feelings, it's the Fact that's the need.
Just ridiculous. "Everything's great, we're all great, you too, right? No? Oh, that's too bad, cuz we're all good, maybe you're doing something wrong?" Gaslighting at its finest..
aw yes 25% grocery inflation yoy is a good thing guys : )
Yup pay is going up but folks still can't buy stuff! Because the stuff is higher then wages!!!!!
MSHIV MS13BC
Oh sorry my bad, I could have sworn I was paying double and triple at the grocery store just the other day but this guy says I didn’t so, ok he’s the expert.
Tell me you only took a high school economics class without telling me you only took a high school economics class…
The lies here. The economy is milking the average people
I feel like the people in this video are talking down to me.
STOP THE GAS LIGHTING
They are trying to sell Joe Biden's BS and we are not buying it. Biden's war on the fossil fuel industry is a great cause of this mess. Biden's putting out piles of free money created a mess.
Prices didn't come down at all. Food is way up, insurance is up, and these items are unavoidable. Govt has been printing money. Wages have not kept pace at all for most people, especially retirees.
Deflation is only bad for the capatalist class… deflation is good for the everday consumer.
This guy didnt look at wage/price percentages when he scripted this BS
