  1. Times are changing. Homes owners are just targeted by government for a steady stream of taxes. My last home I owned, there were parcel taxes, bond measures every year jumping my property taxes. Idiot voters believe slogans like “ Save our children” so government can build new schools because they have not invested enough over the years! Instead the government throw billions at black holes like homelessness non profits and pension obligations for their employees.

  2. These corporations buying swaths of homes then charging ridiculous rents should be criminal. Keep eyes on your townships and make sure they know not to approve deals like that..keep them out of housing rentals

  3. When capitalism starts to eat it's own tail, they come after what's left. I guess the rest of Corporate America will have to get in line for what ever is left after we pay the rent.

  4. The bottom line here is how capitalism as an economic system works. Those who are rich are fanatical about becoming richer, and the very rich want to become billionaires. They do not care about the misery they inflict on others. This is why every few centuries revolutions happen, like it or not.

  5. Thankfully, many of us millennials have decided not to have children. We'll need to hope that Gen Z and Gen Alpha do the same so that future generations can live more comfortably.

  6. This makes me so angry that I couldn't even finish the whole video…. EVERYONE involved in this just openly admits to it. Because when it comes to actually fixing a problem like this, it'll take years and years… All while they make enough money for their children's children's children to go to college and retire comfortably…

  7. They're doing this elsewhere, not just the sun belt. My son and his fiance put an offer in on a house and someone came in with a cash offer the next day, so they lost the house. They are younger Millennials and WANT a house.
