  1. Well, consumer chose to get into this ecosystem, they can chose to go android.. shrug goods and bads, love the usb-c they were forced to add though.

  2. Honestly this is quite petty, because this is what capitalism and competition is all about, if they actually try to sue apple for this, this can diminish innovation and desensitise the potential of newer technology. Instead they should be putting all their focus on META and TIKTOK.

  3. For people who weren't dropped on their heads as babies: The green bubble myth is pretty easy to understand. At first, everyone's bubble were the same colour (before iMessage was introduced). When they introduced iMessage, they simply had to introduce a way of telling if the message was sent as a regular text message or not. I'm pretty sure that nobody has though there should be a different way of tellig the message types apart (even my 94-year-old grandmother understands that green means sent as text). And for the non-beliveres here…. if the recipient is not able to accept high data rates depending on where they are, the message to another iPhone user will ALSO be green. Jesus.. But anyway, yes Apple are greedy. Are you really surprised at that? It's an American company. Nuff said.

  4. I have been an Apple user for as long as I can remember. It was exciting at first, but recently it has become boring. Every phone is essentially the same. Recently, I switched to Android. I am happy with my phone. However, my Apple watch is kind of useless as I can't check my stats and progress as I do not have an iPhone. So, i think to some extent DOJ is right.

  5. No wonder people thinks Apple is "better" they make everything around worse intentionally lol Then they can say from people's "experience" apple is best and you have no choice but… No need to lie just don't tell them. 😂

  6. I have been wanting to use my galaxy watch but Apple refuses to allow me to use. I do not want to spend hundreds of dollars on an Apple Watch to get a worse experience and not have some features that would benefit me.

  7. I see a trend… Antitrust lawsuit means Gov is broke and needs money from the most successful companies. USA Capitalist country until you're on a top 10 then those companies become a target 🎯.

  8. Just send a Video from iPhone to any other user thats not an iOS phone… all Blurry AF! Im glad they are actually doing this lawsuit. Also these middle schoolers all they want is iPhone because of a BLUE DAMN BUBBLE

  9. apple does not have the monopoly of any ddvice market . I never heard of something like :" Apple device have no monopoly but , apple have a monopoly within their device . That does not exist . Android and microsoft and arm . There is no apple . Apple market share is so low calling it a monopoly is laughable . As for apple 50% smartphone revenu ? It's non sense . Revenu is not market share . I can sell 1 home for 1 trillion dollars or 10 home for 1 dollars . The guy that sold 10 house has the monopoly . Even if he is loosing money because he has to pay rent for the home terrain . It's not the 1 trillion dollars home problem . Contract were not forced . They can go to any other os anytime they want . If nokia is not on microsoft phone anymore because ms baught the irelevent portion of nokia is that apple fault ??no . Then there is the technology . We would still be using blackberry if apple did not show up .do you know why apple became a LUXURY BRAND ? Ask bill gate . He should know he saved apple financially . If it was not for him all we use today would not even have been born . All the mechanism apple put in place ? Were to make sure they stay afloat . And no device from apple sell enough in number of unit sold to call it a monopoly . Directly or by proxy . Microsoft had a pc monopoly . Still has it . Smartphone ? It's android . Search engine it's edge . Audio Video ? It's google . Gaming it's microsoft . The hidden number 1 ? Thats linux . What monopoly ?

  10. The problem is, this is such a niche reason to sue Apple. It also is going to backfire when publicly a regular human being isn't going to need more than Apple Pay to access NFT . And a regular person isn't going to mind that much or notice that much that cheaper third party devices don't work as smoothly as native iOs devices. That's almost a cultural convention that people just assume means the knock-off is cheap and comes with its drawbacks.

But what I don't get is how that correlates to anti-trust laws? Unreal Engine just started charging small//large game devs more money per download of a game using their resources. Thats the same as apple and atleast apple regulates its ecosystem.

It just seems like pointing the finger, they don't know whats actually bad about apple, and copying the EU only compliments them, it doesn't make your execution, reasoning nor intended outcome anymore effective. It's actually less. Everyone benefited from having a USB-C mandated device. But apple users that don't use e-watches? Apple users who don't even use apple pay. Apple Users that trust they don'thave to be conned or go through veils from third-party developers that are asking to use their payment information in rando apps? No apple user I know has ever whined about it.

Stop trying to break down doors that have clear intrinsic do not enter signs. It's quite annoying.

  11. The thing I can’t wrap my head around is the whole “Blue Bubble” vs “Green Bubble” debate. Back in the late 2000 there was a phone company called Blackberry. They also had their own messaging platform called “Ping” and with that you could only send texts to anyone who also had a Blackberry. I never had one so my only option was to send a normal text message to a Blackberry user and they could send me a text message back.

  12. This lawsuit is useless, anyone who doesn't wanna use apple can use any other phone. iPhones encryption makes it difficult to use third party smart watches hell we can't even access some files through files when plug to a PC using USB…and a bunch of other reason why this is useless

  13. "How to dismantle a superpower: 1. Attack its citizens with wokeness and illegal immigration. 2. Infiltrate cyberspace by compelling them to open their doors. That is what is happening now in our society."

  14. Really …. they want anyone to put their app on the phone and use it anyway they want …. how about a store being required to allow anyone to setup a mini store inside that store and act anyway it wants to.

  15. I've been using Android phones forever (Samsung S series, specifically) and never felt it's inferior to iPhone. In fact, it connects/syncs seamlessly to my smart devices, TV, laptop, etc….while my partner's iPhone can't.
So, yeah, so what Apple shows my text in Green amidst a sea of Blue mindless followers 🤷🏻‍♂️
