3. John Sinclair. That one hurts me. He was one of the first master poets to call me up when I won the Michigan Poetry Festival in 1980. As Best New Young Poet. He wanted me to get more involved in the Detroit literary scene. I was on the dais at U of D along with imamu Baraka and Dudley Randall of Broadside Press. That's when I knew John Sinclair was the real deal. All the other master poets used to gravitate and hang on everything he said. Rest in peace Poet. We will meet again soon.

13. Sadly, that moment could’ve shown one of those bullets going into the house that hits that girl though… sad I feel for her family. These people already got it rough having to wake up next to decrepit old abandoned houses that the city lets the bank do nothing about.
