  1. Imagine being told to wear masks, and stay away from everyone BUT he’s Meeting new people and establishing new relationships DURING the pandemic! AND cooking their food! Genius!

  2. Okay I’m ab to literally become a private chef. I’ve been a chef for 11 years. Have ran kitchens and senior living communities culinary departments. I have a baking and pastry background and I have tons of cool knowledge from fine dining to comfort food. I’m doing it for sure!!!

  3. On thing to remember here, guys is that he's working weekends, evenings and probably holidays. Yes, he would be doing the same in the restaurant industry and making way less, but it's still giving up weekends, holidays, and evenings. Every job like this (wedding planner, party event planner, photographer, etc) will be crap hours. Also, what is his net profit?

  4. It’s one those stories that are truly motivating. The guy was hit and made most of it. Seems like a wonderful guy and honestly I can see why people would book him for private events

  5. O Michaelllll❤Chef O😂😊😮 I am at awe😂with this handsome lad, lol 😊to go places where he never dreamed of is a miracle. His heart is pure, genuine and he will make his parents proud….even more🎉Once he ties the knot whenever that is …..in the meantime, he’s racking up them dollars like never before and has made his Korean parents❤Very proud. Good job❤young handsome man from Georgia…. Keep doing what you’re doing because thousands out in this world are very proud of you.🎉 by the way, we wear our crown with similar colors😂

  6. With all due respect, he’s not a Chef, he’s a cook- just like any bloke that cooks for a Dennys. As for paying for a “private chef” would you want to pay a “chef” salary for a cook that runs his mouth all day spitting all over your food? No thanks. Focus on what you’re doing, shut your mouth, and do your job. If it’s good, then maybe I’ll pay you double the minimum wage you earn at Denny’s.

  7. Admire this guy's passion and dedication, he deserves his success. But please, formal training or not, as a professional. Chef one should know it's not "Baloney, Italy" (5:11), but "Bologna (say: "Boh-lonya"), Italy"!

  8. Congrats Michael, I am a self taught private chef also and grew my business to around the same revenue as well. There is a freedom that we have which cannot be valued, and I agree – meeting all of the interesting people we cook for is a fun bonus!

  9. I own a personal and private chef business here in Austin. Just had our first Million dollar year. This career is expanding rapidly and we are just seeing the tip of the scale. We started Make More Money Cooking to help chefs give this a whack. Our podcast has over 25,000 subscribers and our students are building 6 figure businesses. This is the way of the future!
