  3. Prices could also be much cheaper. Companies might want to lower their prices in order to compete with other locations that are not affected by this tragedy. Baltimore wholesalers might want to lower their prices in in order to be competitive.

  8. They need to put those same barriers we see at stores around America at the front door. Walmart and Target have them at the front door to prevent cars and other vehicles crashing into the front of the store. They need to add the same barriers at the Pilar’s of these bridges. I know this was a very large ship so add multiple.

  9. The economy will do just fine without Baltimore for the time being. It's not the end of the world. We have to steel ourselves for the really BIG disruptions if they come like China, Russia or Iran knocking out all our communications or electricity or water supplies!

  27. For future safety. Should bridges restrict how many cars are allowed on at a given time? Just think about how bad it would be if the bridge was full of gridlock traffic.

  29. The shipping company will be getting a huge bill for this debacle. Ignoring servicing vessels has a cost that will eventually bite you in the ass.
