KTLA 5’s Sara Welch has the latest from Westwood, where Pro-Palestinian demonstrators once again gathered on the campus of UCLA on Monday, prompting the university to move all classes to remote learning.

The day’s protests began in a campus parking lot where police detained dozens of demonstrators. KTLA 5 News observed several people sitting on the ground with their hands zip-tied behind their backs and surrounded by police. Some wore lime green hats.

  1. They will tell you they are devoted to supporting palastine. Ask them if they donated a red cent to the cause. Ask them if theyre fundraising to send those people any support. Nope they just want to be lazy cry babies.

  2. It never is never was about Hamas, the colonial settlers Israel is there to steal the land of Palestine. Colonial settlers took refuge in Palestine when they were under hitler’s oppression in 1940

  3. Good job, Police. Keep up the good work.

    USA all the way.

  4. Its BS they are letting a few students rule the college. There are ways to stop this BS they just don't want to. When administration of colleges let students protest for terrorists its time to stop this BS

  5. Show your faces cowards!
They want to be revolutionaries yet they fear someone might identify them.
When you protest you put a face to it. So afraid they may be exposed and expelled. 😆

  6. These kids know that there ain't gonna be any consequenses 😝
Florida governor desantos said that it's ( protest )not gonna happen in my state
    And if
" any srudents who creates chaos going to be expelled from school "
That is why so quiet in Florida right now cause no students is stupid enough to lose college degree over this ridiculous protest
    and students realize that đŸ„”

  7. The Israeli interviewed in this piece–the IDL guy–is parochial. Mansplaining to American television viewers they need to go to Israel to "see the truth" the day after Al Jazeera was shut down by Israeli governmental decree. The local anchors narrating the clip are too young to remember the civil rights and anti-war demonstrations of the 1960s.

  8. What's amazing the lack of any moral considerations in the reporting by Americans. No reference to the slaughtering of children as official State policy in the 21st century.

  9. "Students who acquire large debts putting themselves through school are unlikely to think about changing society. When you trap people in a system of debt, they can’t afford the time to think. Tuition fee increases are a 'disciplinary technique,' and, by the time students graduate, they are not only loaded with debt, but have also internalized the 'disciplinarian culture.' This makes them efficient components of the consumer economy." — Noam Chomsky

  10. Hey kiddos, it doesnt seem that your protesting here in the USA is stopping the war out in the middle east. Right??

Why dont you take your little butts out to Israel and tell them what you think?

  11. "people were literally just at a parking lot" @1;32 if you see the fluorescent green hats at a "protest" its not organic and violence is likely.
Why doesn't the press report on this or the organization ?

  12. It’s coming to light on the people and players funding this and organizing this, a lot of them are big Democrat donors like Bill Gates and the Rockefellers

  13. You know my thing is that at a certain point Palestine and these people have pushed the west for too long. And now that this is the response from Israel they can’t handle it. Palestine and the Middle East is never going to be the same after this. Israel is no longer going to even acknowledge the Palestinians as anything but a hostile force a this point. So I think they need to get used to the fact that they jus have to accept this as the new normal. These people simply don’t seem to get that you can’t just cry and whine and get your way. At a certain point people who believe in having order in this world will no longer put up with how these people are acting. The behavior from the Palestinian protesters has been the same as they behavior of Palestinians for the last 80 years. They could have a 2 state solution at any time and lived in peace. But they’re refused to live in peace is why the world is getting sick of their behavior.

  14. Interesting the Prime Minister of Israel approved the total deal in advance of it being offered to the palestinians and now he is back peddling.

  15. We have students here at a UCLA grad school where I work which is south of main campus who don't even have classes on the main campus but are wanting to have remote classes. The university as a whole has left it up to the discretion of the relevant departments to determine how to proceed. None of what's going up there has anything to with classes in this school but they don't want to come to class. I was informed by one faculty member that he was told to go online half way through his morning lab and students were telling him they were blocked from entering parts of the campus on their way into the lab, so he felt it was best to get out while he could to do the lecture online. Oh brother…these kids đŸ€Šâ€â™‚đŸ€Šâ€â™‚.
