  1. Term Limits for SCOTUS – say 20-25 years. Not agism. Not agism to say Senate and Congress elect a new Senate Protem, instead of 1 state’s Senator.

  2. Term limits are needed for all elected officials, especially for the Supreme Court. They stay for the benefits they and their families get for….. LIFE:( 🇺🇲⚖️

  3. Age, per se, is not an issue. We have had very competent elder statesmen through our history. Rather, the only important measure is competence. Clearly enough, age-for-age, all officials are not equal in ability, or temperament.
In this election, the issue between Biden and Trump is not the few years separating the two elderly men, but their fundamental and dramatic difference in respect for the rule of law. One man, the incumbent president, insists on due process and lawful, orderly procedure. The other, a former president, attempted to foment a coup, and committed several major crimes in violation of federal and state statutes.
This coming election tests the fundamental strength of our government to deal with high crimes and misdemeanors according to due process of law, not the violence of insurrection and other denials of democratic process.

  4. It used to make sense because age equated to knowledge, experience and wisdom but these days people stay in their bubble and never learn new things. So instead of wisdom we get bigotry, prejudice and discrimination 🤷🏾‍♂️

  5. Just wondering why Ali Melber's Trump financial pressures don't include the $382,000 judgement England brought against Trump on the Steele dossier fiasco and now Scotland wanting to sue Trump for the disastrous golf course build that he said he would be careful relative to the sensitive echosystem there? Just saying, he is under more pressure from outside the country that people are hearing.

  6. I noticed you jumped over the current line of succession which would first fall to Kamala Harris, and then to Mike Johnson, a man who should be the poster boy fpr maintaining the status quo. Also note that Johnson is the best speaker the Republicans could agree on, which doesn't bode well for the government selecting a succession plan ad hoc. Government is not a business. Business leaders make lousy politicians, and business practices should not be models for government. Yes, term limits are popular – but a terrible idea. We term-limited our Arizona state legislature and now have some of the worst legislators in the country. Legislatures need institutional memory. If you have nothing but noobs constantly rotating through the chamber, it creates a feeding frenzy for experienced lobbyists. And finally, throughout human history, elders have been respected and held in high esteem, and for good reason. And there has also always been contention about when the leadership should step down. This is nothing new.

  7. Yep Ari, folks get old. McConnel had a concussion and shouldn't have returned to work so soon and Senator Feinstein service honorably for over 30 years with sickness taking her life at the end, solid burn sir:/

Age and ageism hardly are biggest fear.
Lets deal with age and tenure after we save our republic.
Vote for Democracy or vote for a deplorable orange embarrassment.
Thats the presient matter at hand.

  8. I’m on Social Security and they took my Medicaid and cut my Medicare where I have to pay more now for testing and now they want to cut or take away my money that I paid all my life! I’m 72 and worry everyday do I buy my meds or do I get groceries! And they get pay raises and take 2 week vacations!! We need to vote blue and get the republicans out!!💙💙💙💙💙💙💙🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
