The US economy continues to show the biggest contraction in the second quarter of American history – 25% or more, and gross domestic product for the whole year will shrink most since World War II.
At the end of this year, the USA should start to recover. Some economists even think that growth is likely to expand in the third quarter.
Analysts say that although there is no sudden and unreasonable treatment for COVID-19 disease, the economy has little chance to return to its pre-crisis state of health. The disease has left tens of millions of jobs, thousands of companies will fail, and will leave permanent marks on the spirit of consumers and business leaders.
