A tornado plowed through suburban Elkhorn and Omaha, Nebraska, on April 26th Friday afternoon, demolishing homes as the twister tore for miles along farmland and into subdivisions. There were no deaths reported so far, as scores of homes were torn to rubble.

  1. It's just going to get worse as tge earth's energy imbalance is now quadruple what it was a little less than 2 decades ago. If you heat tge atmosphere it can hold larger amts of water vapor abd latent heat. Add to this the unstable jet stream and you have a receipe for disaster. It will be interesting to see what happens to FL and eastern seaboard as the hurricane season unfolds. Far more massive damage on the way.

  4. newsflash: homes are made of stone, what you guys call a home in the US is more something like a Hollywood decor (made of light wood panels).
    In Europe a house last centuries or even millennia
    In the US a house can get eaten by bugs in a small part of a human life time.
    I have no idea why the US is so backward in that area (and other areas like education, social support, medical support, superstition, …)

  27. The sad thing is these people will get no help from the government all that money is only for fcken Ukraine and the insurance companies will say act of god and not pay and if they do it wont be enough to replace or rebuild

  28. LOL Peace reasoning. I lived in Omaha for 3 years, my therapist from Alegent sold me a car and suggested I move closer to where I grew up. I worked at Oriental Trading. 3 M hired me for production work but I broke my hand at the Omaha Y. I'm 60 now and I had surgeries. Anyway I was in a area where the tornado alarm went off but it didn't touch down. So evil. LOL, sorry to hear.
