  1. Anyone who thinks the east is better than the West needs to tell me why so many people leave the east for the west. They also need to go live in the east for 10 or 20 years, then come back and tell us how they feel then.

  2. Instesting how both Chomsky and Goodman turned their backs on everything thing they were saying in this video and even supported the same propaganda machine they described here during the pandemic.

  3. I'm surprised Al Jazeera is still allowed to be here.

I mean Tiktok is about get get banned. Russia Today is already banned. A large number of both right wing and left wing voices critcal of the status quoe have either been banned or shadow banned. I know there are some people in power who would love to shut Al Jazeera down.

  4. the genocide happening in palestine is a perfect example of this. the mainstream news outlets are doing some of the most disgusting propaganda i've ever seen for israel. thousands of children and women killed and pretty much doing a checklist of all the war crimes they can do and the mainstream news still covers for israel with how they report and label events, the use of passive voice and lack of blame put on israel is disgusting. by far the worst thing i've seen in my lifetime.

  5. he said that the media make a common enemy ….
so |$|$ are good people and the media of all countries were ling on us all the time?

  6. The difference with democratic societies being that you are free to make a judgement about what is critically valid media, even if it is hard to find. In totalitarian regimes, there is no choice about what you hear.

  7. Yeah, but not always. This is lumping all journalism together and painting it with a broad brush. The same sin it’s condemning. Not all journalists are part of a big conspiracy. There are individuals who do real investigative journalism and aren’t part of the MSM. And no, it’s not far right Idiots like Breitbart or whatever it’s spawned. That’s just another conglomeration of propaganda. I mean REAL journalism. People out there on the front lines.

  8. Thanks for informing us about propaganda, with propaganda. This is the most hypocritical thing I’ve ever seen. It blatantly serves Al Jazeera’s narrative. Why don’t you people actually report on human rights conditions in Doha?

  9. Excellent — but that was Amy Goodman narrating? Didn't sound like a real voice, maybe partly because of the music, and maybe she sounds like a chatbot or something. Anyway, brilliant!
