Children ,healthcare workers and people giving aid to others are being killed and or starving in GAZA . Our government is providing the weapons and money to Israel to continue this humanitarian crisis in GAZA. Protesting for a humanitarian crisis is a good thing! How could you possibly expect a university president to be able to protect students against all that potential violence?? They are Keeping the students safe. The parents would be suing the university into oblivion if anything happened to their students.

  13. It is a shame for the US government because they almost ignore attention to anti-Israel protests. Vice presidents, especially Columbia University need to resign. Students of Columbia University and other universities involved in this should be driven out. Moreover, foreign students -are deported ASAP. Somebody gives money for protests. The situation is dangerous not only for Jews but for all Americans!

Whatever "disorder" is happening at Columbia and other campuses is the reaction of young people to American complicity with Israel's collective punishment of the Palestinian people. Natanyahu is the one who needs to go. The brazenness of the Zionists is outrageous.

Restricting the art of worshiping sacred gods to the ruling class is the real reason behind the deep gap between the rulers and the general public (sacred religious knowledge must be disseminated to benefit all members of society), and the general public must be taught that the gods are superior to humans.

From state government and academic institutions, the call for resignation reverberates loudly. It's not enough to simply point fingers; true leadership demands accountability. They need to lead by example. Every individual implicated, from the highest levels of power to the grassroots, should collectively resign and publicly apologize.

President Minouche Shafik grovelled in every way she could to the extreme republicans and supports of the Israeli assault on Gaza, even calling the police on her own students. But it was not enough! The Republicans have called for her resignation anyway. Of course she should resign for attacking her own students, failing to support their rights to protest and demonstrating she does not understand freedom and the role of a university.
