   ASSAULTS ON OUR UNION RIGHTS

   Waged an assault on the economic rights of federal workers, repeatedly undermining their voice on the job:

   Undermined our merit-based civil service system, granting managers a license to freely discriminate and retaliate against workers.

   Restricted union representatives’ ability to advocate for their members on the job.

   Targeted workers’ freedom to negotiate on workplace issues, including reasonable accommodations for those with disabilities, employee training, overtime, telework and flexible work schedules.

   Revoked the Department of Education’s previously negotiated union contract and illegally imposed an anti-union directive, stripping 3,900 workers of all previously negotiated rights and protections.

   Stripped away protections for rank-and-file workers at the Department of Veterans Affairs, prompting a 60% rise in firings in the second half of 2017 alone.

   Repeatedly turned a blind eye to misclassifying up to 30% of workers as independent contractors.

   Stacked the National Labor Relations Board with union-busting corporate lawyers, denying working people our right to organize through a fair process.

   Defended “right to work” in a brief to the U.S. Supreme Court in the case of Janus v. AFSCME Council 31.

   Rescinded the Department of Labor’s “persuader rule,” which required companies to disclose anti-union legal activities.

10. Union electrician here. A large portion of the rank and file have been voting red for decades. Just anecdotal observation, I never see Biden hard hat stickers on the jobsite ever. I only ever see lets go brandon and fjb stickers. 😂

14. Crazy to see Unions voting for a Republican. IBEW Local 113 the one I'm in told us day one in orientation politics have no place on the job site and everyone in here needs to be voting Democrat! I laughed in their face. I love that these people voted Democrat and now are crying about it. If they did any research on Democrats they would know they hate this country. They are tearing it apart from the inside. I kinda hope they get shut down due to NYC policies they wanted.

15. Almost all Union workers are Conservative, it has only been the Union leaders who supported the Democrats. Teamsters have had enough.

16. It’s the leadership of the union that support Biden ! They don’t feel the pinch as much as the workers! They get Vehicles, Gas cards , 50-60 hours pay on salary, etc. maybe they leaders should listen to the workers! I’m a retired union guy

24. It’s not so much Biden as it is city mayors and congress on both sides. Rhino Romney’s and Garhams so there with Schumers and Durban’s and run there hands together on insider trading, selling seats and keeping the status quo

25. The union endorsement is just a buzzword, or talking point, but never ever think all union members vote according to the endorsement , most union workers have common sense and will vote accordingly. FJB

26. I’m a carpenter construction worker that works in downtown. Seattle have been doing this for almost 20 years and I can tell you that the politics with all the construction workers here in Seattle have change. You can ask anyone of them electrician plumber Labor teamster carpenter they will tell you that they’ll vote for Trump, it used to be that they would vote for Democrats. Our unions are even pro Democrat, but all the union members would vote Trump almost guarantee.

27. I used to work for a union and those Union Brothers will vote Democrat their entire life. All they care about is protecting their paycheck, they couldn't care if the United States burned to the ground as long as their wages Stay High.

29. My Dad was a diehard Democrat. He was very pro-union. I can remember receiving all the monthly publications from the IBEW, which he was a proud member of. I distinctly remember one publication that he was reading RAILING about illegal immigration. My Dad HATED illegal immigration almost to the point where it sounded racist. But the Democrats back then were also very anti-illegal immigration, because they knew illegals watered down the labor pool and forced wages downward. Lol, my Dad used to tell me, “if you carry a lunchbox to work, a Republican ain’t gonna help you.”
    The good old days, when Democrats weren’t soyboys.

30. New York has been pummeled into the dirt by bad voting decisions. This is probably New Yorks last chance before it crumbled into criminal chaos.
