Rep. Summer Lee says “we don’t” hear if college students are excited to vote for Biden

Rep. Summer Lee, a Democrat from Pennsylvania who last week won a primary from a centrist challenger, tells “Face the Nation” that she recently visited pro-Palestinian protesters at a Pittsburgh campus, but “we don’t” hear from these students if they are excited to vote for President Biden in November. But, she says, what she has mainly heard from protesters is that “they want to see a cease-fire in Gaza.”

  2. Interesting. Does she know that Slavery would have ended much sooner if not for the Democrats opposing the 13th Amendment? Does she know perhaps we would not have had a Civil War if the Democrats agreed to end slavery? Probably not. She has been spoon fed that Democrats care about her race. And she is part of the problem.

  4. Biden deserves to lose the election. He doesn't want to change the Israel policy, so don't vote for him. Let him lose.
    Let the Democratic Party lose. Teach them to stop ignoring what the voters want.

  10. Israel is an APARTHEID state. Per Amnesty Intl, human rights watch, and Bt'selem who issued reports in the past 2 years on this. But corporate media will censor these reports from you such as face the nation.

  18. So glad I supported Ms Lee in her campaign. She speaks truth to power. That is why AIPAC type lobbies want her out. She is smart and on the right side of history for Pennsylvania and our country.

  20. Biden because of his system of old values can’t understand the modern trends and has made serious unforced errors. He needs young voters but he is loosing them. Good luck to his next presidency.

You can protest for Palestine and against Israel all you want, but your freedoms and rights in this election in the United States are on the line and that's not hyperbole for an election slogan. What that means is that if you all allow Donald Trump to win, the blame won't be entirely on the Democratic party and President Biden alone, it will fall on the pro-Palestinian people too. Not only will this cause you're championing go up in smoke, but the U.S. will suffer alongside Palestine, if Donald Trump is re-elected in the White House in America. A ceasefire at this point in Gaza be out of the question. I'm not trying to force people to support President Biden at all, but merely to get people to muse about the stakes.
