‘Seven in 10’ Americans ‘do not want’ Trump-Biden rematch

Republican strategist Colin Reed says “seven in 10” Americans “do not want” a rematch between Donald Trump and Joe Biden.

“In a country of this many talented people, that we’ve got a rematch that literally seven in 10 Americans do not want, the old saying ‘the unsustainable situation won’t be sustained’ is one that I think a lot of people have been drawn to,” Mr Reed told Sky News Australia.

“But, at the same time, these guys cruised to their respective nominations.

“People do not want this rematch.

“They didn’t really want it in 2020, frankly, and they want it even less four years later.”
