Sauer did not come across well. Questions by conservative justices much more alive to the big picture and threats all too clear in weaponising system against Trump. I think at least 5 to 4 for some immunity with uncertainty about Barrett. The liberals would be taking a very different view if it was Biden indicted.

The court SHOULD grant immunity but ONLY to Trump and it should be retroactive or better yet, apply to him even if he is no LONGER the President……If he wins, keep the immunity, if he LOSES shut it off to anyone BUT him – until he wins again!!!

Immunity is a double-edged sword.
Surely those who have been elected to lead a democratic nation should be subject to that nation's laws, and should not have the power to make up laws that only apply to them or ignore laws that do not suit their personal purposes. What is a democracy worth if it permits such a thing? Nothing: it stops being a democracy and, quickly or slowly, becomes a dictatorship. Please God Trump is defeated by the legal system he so arrogantly wishes to subvert. Please God, SCOTUS finally and at last comes to recognise that it owes no duty to Trump, that it is Trump who owes the USA.

Question: What is the difference between a President and an every day person but for their title and call to duty, that what they do with their Life should subscribe to nothing other than human decency! There is nothing decent about granting a person – whoever they are! – such immunity that they can commit crimes with the sole intent of self-protection. And let's be honest, shall we? That is all Donald Trump is concerned about: his own protection, knowing full well that his is a criminal's mind, and one which when shrivelled up behind the closed doors of his gold-leafed delusional life, fears accountability!
