23. Beautiful jet, I am hoping our Canadian government comes to their senses and chooses this over the F-35 or F-18 Super hornets even if they are upgraded. New AESA radar, advanced electronic warfare suite, integrated networking and real time data fusion, fast and maneuverable with NATO weapons compatibility, much lower operating costs and reliable in frigid temperatures the Gripen E really hits all the check boxes.

34. They didn’t manufacture most components, ejection seat BAE, engine GE, radar Raytheon, so they only manufacture the airframe and integrate the components. Nothing special, any aircraft company can manufacture airframe. So the missile and bombs also from another country.

48. When India was buying fighter jets, out of 6 competitors, the Saab Gripen came in second. In my humble but enthusiastic opinion, one of the best fighters in the world today………AND the least expensive among the others (competitors)
