For more than three decades, Toronto-raised Benny Hinn has been one of the most high-profile and controversial Christian televangelists in the world. His international crusades and “miracles” on stage have become legendary. His recent apparent renunciation of asking for money for blessings is the subject of debate and skepticism. The Fifth Estate revisits the Benny Hinn story it started 10 years ago. The public has had little chance to get inside the tight-knit world of the Benny Hinn Ministries. Until now. His nephew, Costi Hinn, has broken with the family and written a tell-all book about his experience with what is known as the prosperity Gospel.

    – Luke 18:9-14: The parable of the Pharisee and the tax collector: In this parable, a Pharisee. and a tax collector went to the temple to pray. The Pharisee prayed about how good he was, but the tax collector asked for God's mercy as he was a sinner. Jesus said that it was the tax collector who went home justified before God.

    I'm pretty sure that's talking of Benny Hinn, with his private jet, large house, etc.

  7. Im don't trust tv evangelicals. All that yelling and screaming scares me. I find it disrespectful to God. Plus, all the falling down on stage. Convulsing. Its weird and creepy. That's the devil, not God.

  8. Another problem with following Christ to get rich is completely antithetical to my Saviors words. God will bless your life but the Gospel is not for sale nor is Christs redemption. Benny hinn is someone I hope to never meet cause I may smack him. People like him defile the truth and beauty of Holy Christ Jesus, he does not preach about what Christ teaches us. Christ would not take kindly to someone who blasphemes the Holy Spirit. This makes me so mad man, redemption by Christ crucified is not about worldly riches AT ALL, Its about growing in your spirit by being forgiven and sanctified by the Lords Holy Blood. If you are going to church to get rich or seeking Christ for worldly gain you are lost already.

  11. Costa is richer and more blessed than his uncle ever will be (unless the miracle of repentance happens to him). Costi found the real treasure in theTrruth, in the Word.

    PROSPERITY is God’s abundant Grace to meet the needs of God’s people according to His promises through the Lord Jesus Christ—this is biblical Prosperity.

  21. Costi hinn ,have you done a documentry of all those healed.?Benny hinn does not heal .Only God does that.And He does it through faith.Benny is corrrect.Costi you are wrong.
