14. Trump doesn’t actually believe that 82% of American believe the election was rigged. He knows better, but the thing about Trump is, no matter how damaging it is to him, he’s going to keep saying it because he CANNOT bring himself to admit it. He’s been like that his whole life. He’s lost business after business after business doing things like that. He’s like that for two reasons. 1. He’s an absolute extreme example of a malignant narcissist. And 2. Even aside from that, he thinks it works. It’s why he’s always making up these stories where some big important prominent figures call him and they say “Sir, (and they go on to praise him). It’s why he’s always saying things like “A lot of people are saying (something that validates him” and thing like when the NYPD arraigned him he said “The cops, big strong tough guys, came to me with tears in their eyes (with such admiration for him for how persecuted he is)”. Trump operates on the belief that if you just tell people that everyone else is for something, then they’ll jump on the bandwagon too.
    Add to that his extreme narcissism, and mark my words, Trump WILL destroy the Republican party before he ever admits he was wrong about anything. Because Trump has consolidated power, giving him an iron fisted stranglehold on the Republican party, if Trump’s way means Trump loses, and because he’s incapable of gracefully bow out or stepping aside or admitting defeat, backing down, conceding power, or anything, MARK MY WORDS, he WILL take the whole party down down with him just because HE can’t have it.
    He’s ALWAYS been like that.
