20. NPR is controlled by China but funded by US taxpayers. What could be the problem with that?

If I were interviewing someone for a job, and the response to my question "Why did you leave your last position?" was "I was fired for engaging in a protest against my employer," I would rush to hire that person immediately. Well, not so much. In fact, I wouldn't consider interviewing anyone who had "Google" on his or her resume.

25. Public funded broadcasters are a remnant of WWII when the moral of the nation and the information the government wanted them to have was a matter of national and military concern. It should have been terminated at the end of the war, but there were those who saw how well it worked and wanted to maintain it for their own benefit.
