U.S. economy ended 2023 much stronger than expected, report finds

The U.S. economy had a robust end to 2023, with the gross domestic product exceeding expectations, according to a new Commerce Department report. Axios chief economic correspondent Neil Irwin joins CBS News to discuss the 2024 economic outlook.

  6. Until i see 2007 level Republican homeclosures or 2020 level Republican layoffs and jobs losses then ill say the economy is bad, but right now the economy is wonderful, im in Pennsylvania and hiring 6 US citizens next week.

  10. Yet, many high profile, large companies are reporting mass layoffs. How can the economy be so good when these corporations are laying off workers instead of hiring ? It's because they practiced cronyism for so long by getting in bed with the government and now they can't survive without subsidies. It's the controlled demolition of the economy to bring about a globalist economic system controlled by the elites who will tell you what you can have and how much you can have while they continue to live the high life. It's the controlled collapse of the free market through educational indoctrination, socialist economic policy, and onerous taxes and regulations. Get ready folks because when the most powerful people like Klaus Schwab say things such as "You will own nothing and be happy," they mean it ! There is a time coming called Jacob's trouble. Look up what that means. There is only one true hope and that is to trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. You don't want to be here when the time of trouble like the world has never seen arrives.

I wonder if Biden’s administration could actually do something to rig the economy to make it look strong now that the election is upon us. Just kidding; I don’t wonder; I know; that is what is happening. It’s pitiful that we give these people power. That we vite for them. Humanity is obviously pitiful.
