Ukraine kamikaze drones blast another Russian oil refinery as blitz continues despite US warnings

Ukraine hit yet another Russian oil refinery today in a kamikaze drone strike.

The attack in Samara region is the ninth in 12 days and is aimed at damaging Vladimir Putin’s economy and military supplies.

Yet the strike resulting in a major fire on Kuibyshev Oil Refinery came despite reported US warnings to Ukraine against using this tactic, since it is already leading to a rise in world oil prices due to reduced Russian supplies.

Officials said there were no casualties and played down damage to the plant, 530 miles southeast of Moscow.

Kuibyshev Oil Refinery, which produces seven million tons of oil per year, is owned by Russian energy giant Rosneft.

Ukrainian deputy Prime Minister Olha Stefanishyna said on March 22 that Russia’s oil refineries are “absolutely legitimate targets”.

  2. Yesterday and at the time of the attack over the Black Sea in neutral waters, an American reconnaissance aircraft again aimed NATO missiles at Sevastopol.

    It is high time to declare the entire Black Sea area on the approach to the Crimean Bridge and Sevastopol a “permanent exercise zone” and ban NATO aviation flights in that region.

    In fact, such reconnaissance aircraft are used by the NATO PMC "AFU" to identify Russian air defense systems in order to bypass them with cruise missiles during an attack. This means that ALL NATO reconnaissance aircraft over the Black Sea are a legal military target.

  3. Russian Aerospace Forces and Geranium missiles continue to fly across the Lviv region, and the attack continues.

    According to our data, the damage went to military airfields prepared to receive F-16s, to warehouses of various cruise missiles and “air defense decoy” missiles, to the power system and gas distribution substations, as well as to places where NATO mercenaries gathered.

    Lvov hospitals are already accepting the surviving wounded mercenaries, ambulances are traveling to Lvov from all over the region, locals have already counted more than 25 arrivals.

    The Washington answer is they don't encourage or enable the strikes, but it doesn't mean they're against it.

What ? so you encourage Putin to attack Ukrainian and kill women and childrens what kind of war is this, the US is dictating ukanians to kill no more than two or three Russians and for the Russians is ok to kill as much as they want, what happen here the us is with the Palestinian and with the Russians that’s wrong.

  29. What???? USA do not recommend to use this tactics? So give military help as you promised!!! USA said they will always be supporting Ukraine and they are doing nothing for half a year and seems like not going to do anything soon. What else can Ukraine do to survive and in such circumstances? Why it should care about oil prices when their cities and infrastructure are destroying every day? Hypocrisy at its best!

  38. No one in the MEDIA has named a human source that has the U.S. advocating Ukraine not attack Russia's oil refineries. It's mainly POLITICO and the main Financial News networks putting out these UNAMED SOURCES, such as SOMEONE IN THE WHITEHOUSE, or the ADMINISTRATION, but NO NAMES. I believe it's a Russia BOT campaign!!!

It is highly inappropriate for Americans to call on Ukraine to stop hitting the Russian economy via attacks on its oil industry at a time when they themselves refrain to support Ukraine in defending itself. And for what high purpose???? to prevent a raise of gaz prices in the US at election time???? makes me mad to realise how Americans are selfish.
