The gunman who shot multiple people at a high school in Iowa on Thursday is dead, according to multiple media reports.

The Associated Press, citing a law enforcement official who was not authorized to speak publicly on the investigation, reported that authorities believe the shooter died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Dallas County Sheriff Adam Infante said at a news conference that the incident occurred at 7:37 a.m., before classes at Perry High School began. Deputies were on scene within seven minutes. He said there were “multiple gunshot victims,” but that it’s “still unclear exactly how many are injured and what the extent of those are.”

  1. UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) – The U.N. Security Council on Monday condemned the mass shooting Of 50 GAY Man By Arab Muslim Palestinians Descent in Florida gay nightclub as the United States urged dozens of United Nations member states to drop their opposition to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) equality. 0:26 never forget never forget remember

  2. So now the democrats are screaming more gun laws
Sympathy goes to the victims and their families. The government is so messed up because of Biden. All the gun laws didn't stop this did they,?

  3. Heart breaking. RIP to all the victims. P.S. Perhaps now rural eastern Iowa schools take bulling seriously. The parents have been complaining about bulling for years in those schools. My grandkids attended Perry and the staff did nothing; not paying serious attention to that subject. Instead, my daughter had to move to another town. I'm glad she made that decision to move so that our grandkids could go to another school district because our grandkids would've been there today had she not moved. I do not want to say that is the reason for what transpire today but people who live around there know that it may well be one of the factors that contributed to this event.

  4. With school shootings over the years, you would see people posting about it. Now, people don't even bother to post about it. This is just another day in America's schools because nothing has changed over all these years since Columbine. In that woman's speech, she said they would work tirelessly to make sure this never happens again, WHAT?!?! It should've never been possible for this to happen in the first place. America, you have failed the children, and they will not forget. America could care less about these kids, teachers, and staff. Shove your prayers where the sun doesn't shine because prayers do nothing for the dead, the traumatized, or the disgusting situation that is AMERICA.

  5. "It's impossible to understand why things like this happen," really? Columbine happened 24 years ago. In case some haven't noticed, all the thoughts and prayers haven't changed a thing.

  6. No photos or videos of the bodies? No photos or videos of injured victims being taken to the hospital?
So far we've only been shown a bunch of cops and reporters hanging around outside the school.

  7. Thank the Dumpster and Ron DeSatan for this tragic shooting. All politicians need to support tighter gun control. Guns don't kill people… People do!

  8. These schools are not safe, they have never been safe, and they will always be unsafe. Sending children to these schools is quite literally a form of systemic child abuze. These schools are a complete disaster and cannot be salvaged, they cannot be made safe. It is time to end this insanity and quit repeating the same mistake over and over. These schools should all be shut down, dismantled and demolished. This school system has nothing to do with education, this is institutionalized emotional/psychological neglect. It needs to stop.

  9. They scrubbed the suspects social media accounts already but Libs of TiKToK was able to post screen shots on twitter. This tragedy wasn't what the MSM hoped it would be.

  10. Stop thanking each other and backslapping after these things. People are dead. This is what happened. This is what we did. These are the facts. This is how we're going to improve.

  11. My heart breaks. Please start helping these kids with their mental issues. It is time to stop all this BS. When you decide to treat children with mental issues with surgery or hormones you have failed. It not love and kindness when you try treating someone with a chemical imbalance in their heads by doing nothing.

  12. Can you imagine they just keep saying prayers over and over and over ? When the shootings donā€™t stop after saying a prayer what do you think ? The prayers didnā€™t work ? Thereā€™s no god listening to? Heā€™s listening and he doesnā€™t feel like responding because use he actually caused the shootings ??. Or maybe heā€™s not there ? Hello

  13. So they are leaving out he was Trans. Once that comes to light in full the story will go away.
BTW its the 3rd mass killing in less than a year of Trans-its going on a killing spree targeting kids.

  14. How did this individual get into the school in the first place? Was there a cop on sight? If not WHY and if so WHERE? Why isnā€™t that being discussed by any journalists?

Until we demand someone with a head on their shoulders guarding our schools IN SMALL TOWNS, this is going to keep happening. We pay taxes and we demand that money to be used to protect our children

All parents need to go to their school and try to get inside

If itā€™s easy you need to complain and make a big deal and do it NOW

And if you donā€™t, donā€™t come crying when your kid is shot, because you stayed complacent about your school districts security, or lack of.

The mentality of ā€œit wonā€™t happen hereā€, ends today. Itā€™s happening here and in your small town USA, far too often. Wake up and act before itā€™s too late.
