When something breaks in your house, you rely on the repairman who comes to fix it. But how do you know if they’re charging hundreds, even thousands for repairs you don’t need? Inside Edition rented a house in Montclair, New Jersey, for an entire month, tricking it out with cameras and then calling the fix-it guys to see what happened. In the first in a special series of investigations, Inside Edition enlisted two experts, Mark McManus with Door Boy and Andrew Cimmino with Christie Overhead Door, to assess the garage door. Both assured it was in perfect working order. Then, they created a minor problem the experts say any repairman should be able to instantly recognize and fix. So what happened next? #InsideEdition

I've been watching a couple of these already and they all have one common denominator. ALL foreign accents. I guess in other countries, its normal to rip off homeowners. Now I know hot to spot yall.

As a homeowner this really scares me
Sounds racist but it's 90 percent always newly arrived black and brown immigrants especially in canada. From cabs to contractors to store owners to warehouse laborers to phone companies assistance people usually jobs where you need to speak English okay to get the job done and at least know you're trade. They don't know those two then spend all there time on the phone ignoring you talking a foriegn language not working not helping okay then when it comes time to work they don't help they actually make things worse even worse then an automated service which use to be the use thing ever invented in our economy
"The blinking light is letting you know there's a malfunction in the unit"
No, not even close.
And not only did they fix it, but then they tried to charge her for new equipment that she clearly doesn't need and they know she doesn't need.
