Bill Spriggs, chief economist to the AFL-CIO, says economists must do “a huge amount of work” to eliminate racial biases from their profession. He explains how the U.S. economy faces two crises: a health crisis from the coronavirus pandemic and a longer-term recession as millions of Americans have lost their jobs. Spriggs says the Federal Reserve needed to take aggressive action to help the economy and adds Congress should institute policies like a minimum wage to boost the working class.

And I've been doing that by investing in the stocks, bitcoin and dividends. I've earned impressive profits I can't mention here working with Mr. Young through his registered investment company. The best way to boost the economy is to save the 3trillion and gives every worker $5 each hour they spend at work so if your employer pay you $15 per hour plus the $5 from the government you will make 20 per hour, only that will motivate people to work and also earn it while helping our economy

CNBC is a so BIASED! They always have "experts" who push a leftist agenda and there is NEVER any debate from a different perspective. Also the reporter here keeps smiling for no reason. It's so unprofessional.
Its going to get worse for employees. Big Corporations have already announced payment cuts and/or suspensions. We are in the endgame where a very few will soon discover that poor people dont spend money.

Printing money is not without consequences. Inflation will be manifest in some places in the US, some places abroad. One manifestation is destabilization due to ineffective QE. There’s a need for better governance, civic spending, excellence and altruism.
money printer go brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Unless you legislate that the minimum wage MUST move in line with inflation, it means nothing, that purchasing power will be destroyed over time.
The economy is at ponzi scheme levels
Whenever intelligent people speak intelligently they are often vilified and marginalized. Dr. William Spriggs, in articulating why and how our current economic system of instability and inequity may collapse onto itself, is warning us that difficult changes are both necessary and forthcoming.
How do you rate economists as top, influential.
