Why are Americans choosing to quit their jobs in record numbers?

1. Quitting? Huh! I was laid off. No work….anywhere in the plant. I am not bilingual

4. NOBODY wants to hire half of the millennials or generation Z out here. They’re not very hirable due to their mindsets and thin skin. So yes these companies are hiring but they are only hiring a certain type. Dependable. So they’ll give the undocumented workers the work instead.

5. Most are young people with no work ethic who’ve become use to sitting around watching YouTubers and content creators make a load doing much of nothing but talking and it’s ruined the fabric of the work force. They’ve all quit to be Uber drivers.
   The gig economy has replaced everything.

10. Changing to a minimalist lifestyle cut out the need for a 9-5 job. Sold my vehicle and a lot of the stuff I never really needed. That gave me the startup capital to get an online resell business going. It was stressful at first, but within 3 months, the business is self sufficient and I have 3x the money I made at a dayjob.

14. It doesn't feel like companies are EGAR to hire so much as it feels like companies are ONLY placing wanted ads and then not hiring anyone to keep their wages down, less people to pay. Companies are realizing that 2 people can do the work of 3 or 4. So they're just running on 2 people to save money.

15. The market is good for workers. I just got a work-from-home job with zero experience in the industry. Go for it.

    Retirement or online income is the

33. I am still looking for a real job. I do like my side driver job. However, it’s only a side job. Very hard to find a real job after 54. I hope the job and economy gets better👍I did get hired at a nice department store retail. Seasonal. 36. People are tired of abusive corporations who dont share their profits with their employees, who overworked them and underpay them. High health insurance premiums where Health insurance in the US should be abolished because is USELESS. Employees dont get paid sick days, I guess people are sick of the corporate and government abuse. I just can figure out how are the paying their bills if they are not really “working”. How can they buy food? medications? etc.

37. Jesus christ what a bunch whiners. Removing trees in sub zero termpatures and thunderstorms, delivering pizzas in state of emergency, cleaning interior of tanks that is 120 degrees and need to drink 5 gallons of water to survive, getting nose bleeds from the stress from the manufacturing jobs, list goes on and on. This is HellForce in Hell.
