Will Clouds Block the Billion-Dollar 2024 Total Solar Eclipse?

20

According to multiple forecasts, there is a significant chance that clouds could ruin the highly anticipated total solar eclipse of April 8, 2024 for many areas along the path of totality across the United States. Tension is high. Cloud forecast poses a severe risk to countless families plans.

This raises concerns about a potential “cosmic disappointment” and financial losses for areas that have been preparing for an influx of eclipse chasers and tourists.

Clouds could collapse the “eclipsenomics” windfall, if people back out of traveling, that will directly translate into hundreds of millions in potential losses for local businesses relying on this surge of cosmic tourism.

While the rare celestial spectacle will still occur regardless of atmospheric conditions, the ominous outlook highlights the fickle nature of eclipse viewing and its significant financial implications for cities positioned along the path of totality.

Join me as I venture into the path of totality in Hot Springs, Arkansas, and hear from Eclipse Chasers that have chased shadows across the world and people who praying for sunny skies like a bride on her wedding day. Stay tuned to the latest forecasts!

  1. It is important to note, if the cloud deck is not thick and not widespread rain, many clouds evaporate as totality nears. This happened in 2017 as I witnessed ir for myself. Don’t panic just because it could be cloudy where you are. Watch closely and decide the day before and then commit.

  2. Do you know why the Total Solar Eclipse 8 April 2024 is more exciting that is because NASA caught red handed.
NASA is misleading the community by telling lies about the Total Solar Eclipse….!

It has been totally described in Buddhist teachings how a Total Solar Eclipse phenomena is happening.

Sun is very small comparing to the earth

Sun’s diameter is 50 miles and it’s has approximately 650 miles circumference.
And the Moon has a 49 miles diameter and approximately 250 miles circumference.

When the Sun is covered totally by the Moon however
Sun can’t be totally covered by the Moon because of the 1 mile difference between the diameters of each other.

Ring of fire phenomena is occurred due to this Universal truth which is taught by the Lord Buddha.

Finally, the most important things should be mentioned here,

    They as follows,

1.Sun is traveling very fast when it is in its straight ecliptic path and the Moon is comparatively slow when it is in its ecliptic straight path.

2.Sun is traveling very slow when it is taking the turn in its ecliptic path and the Moon is traveling very fast comparatively when it is taking the turn in its ecliptic path.

3.The Sun travels a figure of eight ecliptic path called Solar Analemma throughout a year and the Moon travels also a figure eight ecliptic path throughout a year called Moon Analemma.

4.Sun and Moon traveling up above 42,000 miles from the earth.

    5. Sun and Moon always maintaining approximately 100 miles distances between each other when they are in their respective ecliptic path throughout a year, however this universal truth is coming to practical due to the phenomenon of that A Total Solar Eclipse can only be seen in a strip of approximately 100 miles.

That’s why a Total Solar Eclipse is can’t be seen by people of all over the world

It’s because of earth is very big comparatively to the Sun and Moon as I mentioned top of this comment.

  3. In 2017, I did not encounter anything close to the predicted crowds when I drove to Andrews NC — right on the centerline of the path of totality. Lonely roadside stands were selling eclipse glasses that nobody was buying. A town newspaper supplement claimed "This is literally going to be the largest event in Andrews history," but I parked right at the town common and walked to the Main Street. It was closed to traffic, but I found as many vendors there as pedestrians. "They told us there would be thousands," a guy selling T-shirt said, adding that he reserved his place six months before. In a small outdoor courtyard, a young man played guitar and sang to empty tables and chairs. If the forecast is promising for Monday's eclipse, I'll see how things play out in northern Vermont. Best of luck to you.

  4. Well, I’m driving up to Rochester, NY. Didn’t really want to go but I’m taking my father-in-laws place while he’s in rehab. Since I’m picking one of a 2 night hotel stay@$500/night (to be fair) cloudiness is almost guaranteed.

  5. "there is a significant chance that clouds could ruin"

No, there is a significant chance clouds WILL (not could) ruin…. The odds clouds could ruin it are 100%. You don't fear you could drown; you fear you will drown. Avoid the double indefinite error.

That one error is often what separates an excellent work like this from an utterly perfect one. Overall, though, the creator did a quite fine job here. I'm in NE Texas. Wish us luck.

  6. I was planning to travel from Florida to Arkansas and stay in the Ouachita National Forest. Unfortunately looking at pivitolweather looks like I’ll be staying home. Could be worse, I could have been one of those people who spent a $1000.00 for one night at a local hotel.

  7. In 1991 we went to Mexico for the Eclipse. We didn't go to Teotihuacán because we knew every bimbo and new age wacko would be there. We went to Tula, which was about 60 miles away but along the path of totality.

The view of the Eclipse was SPECTULAR. One single cloud came across the sky and and blocked the sun enough to be able to watch the Eclipse without glasses. When the sun was in full Eclipse the cloud disappeared and we could watch the total Eclipse as the moon covered the sun. The streamers extending from the sun were amazing. And watching the flowers close up and the ants going back to their tunnels was fascinating.

By the way, Teotihuacán was cloudy and there was next to nothing seen.

  8. Y'all should be just getting ready! order a little more inventory then usual, just this one time, it should be taken as more of a blessing, it can give your economy a small boost. Im happy for yall! Get that money!
