Cannabis stocks are experiencing a surge in Tuesday’s afternoon trading session, fueled by an Associated Press report indicating that the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency is gearing up to reclassify marijuana as a less dangerous drug. Trulieve (TCNNF) CEO Kim Rivers joins Market Domination to provide insights into the potential implications of this news.
Rivers acknowledges that the reclassification process has been “a long journey,” explaining the various steps and approvals the drug has undergone before reaching this stage. However, she remains hopeful that there will be “an official announcement” from the DEA, confirming their agreement with the recommendation to reschedule cannabis, placing it on the same level as Tylenol and codeine. She hails this potential move as “a critical first step for regulatory and policy changes.”
Rivers sheds light on the benefits of this regulation, suggesting that it could pave the way for safer banking operations within the cannabis industry, open new pathways for research, and lead to normalization in areas such as taxation.

Its just to try and get votes. Noticed not legalized..😊
This does zero for little tent guy growing in prohibition land. Make it legal
Unless they're gonna completely legalize it for recreational use like alcohol, it's a waste of time.
How will this affect CDL drivers?
How is she a CEO and still can't stop saying "And Ummmmm" every sentence?
Tobacco was so much worse put that in your apartment smoking
I don’t think this is what Jerome Powell meant by “higher for longer”
War on drugs still going on?

This is a HUGE 1st step to federal open rec ❤
Just legalize it and be over. It’s almost as ridiculous as fighting with beer consumption …
Why is alcohol not on the schedule? because it's hella addictive yet there is no medical use!! 😢😢😢
this green wave could really be used to help the economy, medically, mentally, used to help education as well.
The banking system needs all the weed to help keep it solvent.
Dont fall for this investment always junk and the news is always wrong about it . Look at history it doesnt lie
Bright green only went up 25.00% for me
I agree that many people are considering NVDA as the "Stock of the year." However, I'm curious about which stocks could potentially become the next META in terms of growth over the next decade. I've allocated $200k for investment, looking for companies to make additions to boost performance
Of course with reclassification/rescheduling stocks will raise, Cannabis is the new green gold, man!
Don't fall for it. These stocks lost 90-99% of their value from the last major run.
They might pump, but will end up in the trash, leaving you with bags.
Great 😊
They reclassified weed, oh what a twist,
But then everyone got high, couldn’t resist.
As smoke filled the air,
Chaos spread everywhere,
And the world, in a haze, ceased to exist.
"It's a way of life, it's no hobby. It's a way of looking at that wave and saying, "Hey bud, let's party!" – Jeff Spicoli
How much did Nancy P make by front running this announcement? Anyone know?
make legal now !!!!!
Changing a classification doesn’t make it less dangerous.
Precisely stocks arent popin, most if any made minute gains, and due to changes in laws despenseries only a handful have luckily found sucess, aside from that like any thing else if a big company can't controll it and mass produce it it'll be regulated till it looses its value different laws everywhere; edibles, creams are very pricey even through the insurance/medical route better off finding a source which seems to be the cheapest route.
What about drug tests for jobs am I safe
The elephant in the room that so few people ever mention is that classifying a plant as a crime is evil at the base level
Proposal meaning we are still just where we were years ago, the dinosaurs in DC will go back and forth on this for a long time still
