  1. Everything he said is totally false. He is upper class rich man that are completely unaware of Puerto Rico necessity, he do not care about Puerto Rico, he only care about his pocket. His cousins were arrested by the FBI over corruption and currently in jail. He denied them but their cousin ran his elections campaign.

  2. That BS. 78B in depth, Taxes through the roof, all that money are being stolen by the local government with “friends”. I live here in PR and I haven’t seen any improvements. A lot of manufacturers are leaving.

  3. What exports or money making endeavors are coming from Puerto Rico? Let’s be honest. Nothing but headache inducing bad bunny regurgitated reggaeton music.

  4. Via gentrification of course. Privatization is making impoverishment worse. Guess they gotta bring down the population of locals somehow.
    I paid $135 for power (no ac) $90 for water, $250 for groceries but I’m told that’s everywhere I guess.

  5. Puerto Rico pays taxes without representation.

    Puerto Rico pays taxes to the United States. In 2011, Puerto Rico paid $3.3 billion in taxes to the U.S., about the same amount as Vermont. In 2016, the total was $3.6 billion. Sometimes Puerto Rico pays more than Vermont.

    Some of the kinds of taxes paid by the people of Puerto Rico:

    Social Security taxes
    payroll taxes
    import taxes
    export taxes
    commodity taxes
    Most people in Puerto Rico do not pay Federal income taxes. However, they do pay local income taxes, and in many cases these are higher than Federal income taxes would be. What’s more, nearly half of the people on the mainland do not pay income taxes. They may have to file, but tax credits and deductions mean that many people in the United States do not pay federal income taxes.

    So we can see that the people of Puerto Rico, as a group, pay taxes just as other U.S. citizens do.

  8. I hope that the politicians will read some of this over there because there's still some issues going on over there though I'm home care Family Services paid for senior citizens which is being very neglected I do have to address this it would be more jobs give insurances would pay for family members over there. Many people have to leave their jobs to take care of family why not pay them like they doing in in the mainland especially like New York

  9. What a LIAR!!!!! PR is a disaster.! The electric bills keep going up, the roads are a hole skip show, the judges are corrupt, referrals for investigation for elder abuse are ignored…. Hospitals are going bankrrupt because insurance companies are boss…. This guy is a joke!

  10. That guy there is a failure and most of the things he said he will do, now in his 3rd year of 4 are just starting to take form. People are leaving the island in droves because the government of full of thieves that tax the people for their managerial failures. That's why President Trump put some restrictions with the aid money. Most international big pharma companies have left and there's not a lot of places to get a decent wage if you are an average person. There's 3 taxes to oil derivatives including gasoline, income tax and another tax when you buy stuff. If you want to open a business as a local it can take up to 1 year and some thousands to get the permit. The utilities are way too expensive cause they bankrupt the government owned companies which by the way are monopolies. The sad part is that it is a beautiful place with actual freedom but the people need to politically mature and stop voting for the people that are causing them harm. In that sense it's almost like the US where you have 2 bands of cult followers. 😂😂

  11. This man is as corrupt as any other politician his administration continues to allow the nergy company to extort money from islanders, allows foreigners to buy up properties illegally on beach fronts that are legally for the people, is related to one of the most succesful air bnb hosts on the island and the list goes on he represents the 1% on that island just as much as politicians do here…people are still moving, the infrastrucure is so bad you cant even flush toilet paper, government services are horrible, and the brain drain leaves the island with limited professional resources, the education system is colonial and govt is an extention of US interests
