The Russian Federation has a supply of tanks and combat vehicles only until mid-2025, according to Forbes.
The publication reports that in military terms for the Russian Federation, 2024 is the last significant opportunity to achieve success. However, Ukraine is actively working to solve its problems and significant progress is expected by 2025.
The material, citing an Estonian military analyst, states that after the adoption of the mobilization law, it is expected that by the end of 2024, improvements on all fronts will gradually unfold at all levels.
As drones became the main threats to tanks in Ukraine in the months following Russia’s wider invasion of the country starting in February 2022, the Russians—and later, the Ukrainians—borrowed a method from combatants in Syria and began welding crude metal roofs and cages onto their tanks.
And improvisation doesn’t apply only to armor. The Russian and Ukrainian militaries are also attaching different combinations of radio jammers and antennae to various vehicles in the hope of immobilizing incoming drones. Some of these jammers are bizarre, but that doesn’t mean they can’t work.
The Russians and Ukrainians are also creating entirely new vehicle types by mixing and matching spare chassis and weapons—again responding to battlefield conditions until the responses become standard practice.
Russian casualties in Ukraine have surpassed 450,000 since February 2022, according to figures published by Ukraine’s military.
 Casualty counts are murky in war, and neither Moscow nor Kyiv is keen to offer up estimates on its own losses.
Western estimates of Russian losses come in lower than Ukraine’s count. The U.K. government said on March 3 that from February 2022 to early March 2024, total Russian casualties—killed and wounded—stood at 355,000.

  5. Русские военные получают зарплату 200 000 руб это если на передку, а украинские военные по новому закону если перевести в рубли будут получать где то 500 000 руб.

    Приблизительно: 32 000 грн ставка, 100 000 -110 000 грн доплата когда на фронте, 70 000 грн новая доплата, плюс там ещё есть другие мелкие доплаты, плюс нормальна экипировка, плюс нормальная еда… плюс волонтеры очень хорошо помогают, плюс лечение намного лучше чем в рашиков, но всё не идеально ещё работать и работать.

    Это я это все навел плюс минус приблизительно, тыловики например получают меньше, в русских кто в тылу зарплата вообще фигня.

    За нашего убитого солдата платят 15 млн грн, где то 400 000 тыс дол, за ранение тоже платят, но я суму не знаю.

  13. Republicans AND Biden are responsible for tens of thousands dead Ukrainian soldiers. Holding back military and financial help just for political reasons while soldiers are dying in trenches every day without ammunition is disgusting. 🤮

  21. Honestly, I don't think so, the Russians have at least 3000 tanks left that can be used. At most 5000.

    That would last to 2026/2027.

    However, they are running out of artillery, with only 6.8k towed and 1.9k self propelled left, when they started, they had 14.5k towed artillery and 3.5k self propelled artillery. That is less than half that remain, and it's not because Ukraine is kicking ass, it's because Russia cannot replace the barrels they use in the field, so they pull the ones from storage and replace the barrels with them.

    If Ukraine gets to 2026, then Russia will be out of artillery. That's as simple as it gets.

  36. Unfortunately this is false. Russia is at this time producing more arms and equipment than they are currently blowing through. How long this rate of production can be sustained is unknown. Moscow knows this production rate is unsustainable. Thus their continuing to purchase arms and equipment abroad.
