‘This is antisemitic garbage’: Joe reacts to Trump’s comments about Jewish Democrats

“Any Jewish person that votes for Democrats hates their religion,” former President Trump said in an interview with Sebastian Gorka, a former Trump administration official, on Gorka’s web show on Monday. Trump made the comments during a discussion about the Israel-Hamas war when Gorka asked about Democratic criticisms of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the country’s conservative-led government.Ā

  28. I appreciate Morning Joe Reporting some facts And not fully distorting the story in Gaza. I've been a little disturbed with MSNBC's Silencing of some of their Commentators for speaking the truth so Morning Joe is only Saving Grace for me.

  37. Why are we even playing with the idea of Israel now? We've sent billions to them for decades. They now have the best defensive capabilities of any counrry, and have their own version of the CIA and a space agency. We do NOT have to continue sensing them our Tax Dollars when America is in crisis. We have some many problems here, and it isn't Anti-Semetic to say that. I love all races on this Earth, but our tax dollars need to help us before we give any to any foreign countries ā¤

The world hands Israel billions of dollars because of guilt for what happened in WW2. 1945 ended the war so for nearly 80 years Israel has played the Holocaust card, when does Israel stand on it's own? If you speak out against what Israel is doing in Gaza you're attacked and accused of antisemitism. Now Jared Kushner has come out saying the truth out loud, the Gaza coast is worth lots of money and should be leveled and turned into ocean view condos. Israel wants the whole coastline. Settlers attacking the West Bank killing people who had nothing to do with October 7th, killing people and land grabbing. How does the world sit by and watch nearly 2 million people starve to death?

  44. I agree 100% with what Richard Haass had to say. The same happens here where I live. If you criticise the Israeli government, you get called antisemitic – which is bs, because 1) criticism (NOT threatening) of a government should be allowed in any democratic country in the first place, and as far as I'm aware, Israel is a democracy; and 2) just because I am critical of what the Israeli government is doing to the Gazan people (which ALSO does not mean I support in any way of the Hamas attack, I absolutely don't – I just think murdering tens of thousands of people who had nothing to do with the attack is nothing less than despicable), that does not mean I dislike or even despise the Jewish religion or Jews in any way. Criticising a jewish government for their actions is not the same as being antisemitic. Trump is an antisemitic. His words are antisemitic rhetoric. Being critical of Netanyahu is not. And people have to understand that difference, because without understanding that difference, there is no discussion possible, sadly.
