  1. Here we go. First if all its the babies life not the mothers. She was the one who got herself pregnant i. The first place youd rather have bide?,biden. 2. You know what our problem is? We don't live up to the title of "United" States of America. I've been saying this for years and years. We have become the BSA, the Buncha States of America.

Can someone explain how a person in Illinois , when they cross into Michigan, for example, becomes a different sort of creature that gets and loses different sets of rights from those they had or didn't have in Illinois? I have never understood this, since I was a kid in the 1950's, would open up an almanac and discover you could get married at age 14 with parental consent in certain states and had to wait until 16 in other states. Exactly how does a 14-year old change if his/her parents take the family to another state for a better job? They suddenly become more mature and capable of raising a family because they moved 500 yards across the border?

Yes, I know that in 1787 the Founders had to create a fairly weak central government, which was at least a bit stronger than the Articles of Confederation required, but still, they needed nine states to ratify the new Constitution, so all sorts of stuff was thrown in to give the states individual powers — like the states having the right to determine who could vote — in order to get those nine votes for ratification. That was 240 years ago.

That we, today, still in so many categories allow states to act like independent countries when this affects the daily lives of people who move from one state to another, contributes to the divisions in our country that leave it no longer being a "United" States.

  3. MAGA crazies have no grasp of what a hot civil war will do to the nation. They need to sit down and watch films of Europe during WW2 when we did not even have the destruction capability we, even as only citizens, now possess. They certainly do not appreciate all we do have here in the USA.
