Trump’s Idiot Lawyers Subpoena The Wrong Man Ahead Of Trial

Donald Trump’s lawyers are giving us a preview of their brilliant legal minds, and Trump himself should be terrified of what we’re seeing. Apparently Trump’s legal team subpoenaed the wrong man for records that are relevant to the upcoming hush money trial, but they didn’t bother to see if anyone else shared the same name. Sure enough, the name was shared by an average man in Brooklyn, and HE is the one that ended up getting the subpoena. He managed to troll Trump’s lawyers in response to the wrongfully issued subpoena, but that’s of little consolation to Trump. Farron Cousins explains what happened.

  10. Then the lawyers complain to the judge about Mr. Rosenberg's flippancy…hilarious. Something about Trump makes people flippant about fact checking. Details are incidental when you're Trump's lawyer.

  19. To be fair, Trump is too conceited and stupid to be guided by his lawyers, plus he can't keep his mouth shut and keeps on actually admitting to things that the prosecution can use against him. Any lawyer working for Trump isn't just fighting for Trump, but also has to fight against Trump's stupidity, his ego, the things that he says publicly, etc. So even the best lawyers would find it very hard to defend Trump well. And that's assuming any decent lawyer would want (or need) to represent someone who is well known for never paying his bills.

    If the US legal system actually wanted to process and prosecute Trump the way it would process and prosecute any other criminal, then Trump would have been in prison long ago, no matter how good his lawyers were. The evidence against him for his crimes is almost too immense for words. But for some reason, the US legal system seems to think that Trump alone should be immune to consequences.
