The United States is actually financing aggressive activity by providing military aid to Ukraine, since Kiev may attempt to hit the Crimean Bridge with the use of ATACMS missiles, Apty Alaudinov, Chechnya’s Akhmat unit commander and a senior Russian defense ministry official, told TASS.
Recall, US President Joe Biden signed into law a package of military aid to Ukraine, which was passed by Congress.
“We should understand that this package of aid the US is trying to provide to Ukraine was initially meant to make it possible for Ukraine to do something extraordinary on the battlefield. Two thirds of this money will obviously stay in America. And part of it, including in the form of ATACMS and other weapons will go to Ukraine as alleged aid. As a matter of fact, this can be described as financing terrorist activity. I think that these missiles will be used to stage terrorist attacks on Russian territories that could be reached by them. And it is not ruled out that they may try to hit the Crimean Bridge,” Alaudinov said, adding that the Russian military will do its utmost to repel such attacks.
Ukrainian forces will be able to use a newly delivered, coveted long-range missile system to more effectively target Russian forces in occupied Crimea, Pentagon said. The goal for the new longer-range systems is to put more pressure on Crimea, a hub of Russian air and ground forces, “where, right now, Russia has had relatively safe haven,” a senior defense official told reporters at the Pentagon.
Pentagon officials refused to specify the exact number of long-range systems that have been sent to Ukraine. The Biden administration sent the longer-range ATACMS secretly, to avoid alerting the Russians. They were part of a $300 million shipment announced in March that was the first new aid package for the country since funding ran out in late December.

  19. If the ATACMS missiles are equipped with cluster munitions they will not make much of a dent into that bridge, unless they're used as a diversion, or to take out the air defense networks. As far as seen all the ATACMS used so far were the cluster warhead variant.

  40. Bad news is the PRSM’s stocks have been built along with the Typhoon MLRS that can fire SM-6’s and Tomahawks there’s no need for the ATACMS anymore and there’s at least a 1000 sitting in Germany. Although they’re probably in Ukraine by now😅
