48. I believe that's true and it manifests itself in job creation for one, the stock market in the other. Most people can benefit from the creation of new jobs and people who have a job and are vested in a 401K for example can benefit, even if not immediately but their fund will grow. The stock market is kind of a sigh of how confident business is of the future so having it rise is a good thing.

    Prices are still high on a lot of commodities and people see it at the grocery store for example. There are many reasons for high grocery prices, not just corporate greed, although there IS that. Produce for example has a lot of reasons for the price. Lack of workers to pick and process, transportation. drought and/or floods, and disease.

    Inflation is multifaceted and a faucet just can't be turned off and on. Wages going up are part of it but people deserve to be able to at least pay a modest rent and buy necessities if they are going to work every day and not everyone can make a couple hundred grand a year in a tech job.

    I think things are looking better but there are still issues. The President IS trying to work on them and his republican "friends" are doing all in their power to see that he fails. I think considering the push back, he has done an amazing job.
